chantel began stringing jewelry in 1997 with world-renowned jewelry designer and decorative artist Federico DeVera. She began designing her own jewelry in the winter of 2004. Integrating old and new stones, her designs are all one of a kind with over 100 pieces in her collection. chantel offers myriad designs with elements including antique pendants and intaglios with various shapes and sizes of pear, oval, round and rough-cut gems, semi-precious and precious stones such as: turquoise, natural & branch orange, red & blue coral, onyx, kyanite, apetite, old afghani glass beads, grey & black labrydorite, garnet, amethyst, tourmaline, sapphire, lapis, agate, artistic jasper and old wooden beads. Currently her collection has expanded to include old mahjong pieces and found objects. She also can be commissioned to redesign old pendants and those random earring & jewelry parts that one leaves untouched in one's jewelry box. With the pieces she recreates a new necklace much in the spirit of a charm bracelet with additional complimentary stones composing an entirely new design.
